Laura Harth

Born on 26 November 1985 in Bruges, Laura completed her Master in International and European Law at the University of Ghent, Belgium, in 2008. She was President of the Young Flemish Liberals in Brussels from 2004 to 2006. In 2009 she interned at the European Parliament and then served as a Parliamentary Assistant to Ms Fientje Moerman MP at the Flemish Parliament. In early 2011 she joined Patronale Life as Legal and Compliance Director. She has been a member of the Nonviolent Radical Party Transnational and Transparty since 2009.

In 2013, following up on her passion for politics and human rights, she completed the European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation with a thesis on the power of nonviolence at the University of Padua, Italy. Laterthat year she joined No Peace Without Justice for an internship which led her in missions to Gaziantep, Turkey, and Kiev, Ukraine. She is currently volunteering at the Nonviolent Radical Party where she concentrates on the campaign on the Right to Know.
